Solution

• We created a single web portal with a backend using .NET to offer more scalability and a high-performance environment. We optimized data storage and indexing strategies with an MS SQL server, assuring faster queries and efficient data retrieval while managing huge data load.

• We integrated a data validation engine using custom business logic integrated into the .NET backend, which cross-referenced uploaded data with predefined tax rules and regulations. Now, the system checks and alerts users against common errors like missing tax, invalid format, etc.

• The system consistently monitors uploaded tax docs for errors. Using Angular, we build a user-centric web portal that displays detailed error logs, alerts, and issue tracking for auditors and tax professionals. The backend uses SingalR to push real-time error notifications.

• We implemented robust encryption standards for data at rest and in transit and role-based access controls. Besides that, regular security audits and compliance with data protection regulations help mitigate these risks.

• We built a centralized database with version control to track document updates and modifications. We also implemented data validation rules and audit trails to keep records consistent and reliable.
